Testnet Tokens
This is the sandbox. It runs on testnets only. Never send real money or real tokens to an address or bank account the sandbox returns.
The sandbox is subject to the Beta Features section of our Terms of Use.
The sandbox runs on two EVM testnets, avalanche-fuji and ethereum-sepolia. Its tokens are testnet tokens with no value.
Tokens
Both tokens have the same address on Fuji and Sepolia.
Use CTK wherever your production integration would use USDC. See On-Chain Deposits for how amounts convert.

Gas
Any wallet that sends a transaction, such as a deposit or an AUSD faucet request, needs a little testnet gas. The sandbox doesn’t provide it, so you will need to get it from a public faucet:
These faucets are run by third parties. They may ask you to sign in, and they limit how often you can claim.
CTK
Call POST /v0/sandbox/faucet with an address and a network. It sends 1,000 CTK, usually within a minute.
Send it to a wallet you control, then deposit from that wallet. CTK sent by the faucet straight to a deposit address is not paid out. The faucet send doesn’t appear in your transactions, so check the wallet’s balance.
AUSD
Call requestFunds(address) on the AUSD faucet contract, 0xd236c18D274E54FAccC3dd9DDA4b27965a73ee6C. It has the same address on Fuji and Sepolia and mints 10,000 AUSD per request. Your wallet needs a little gas to send the transaction. For a viem example, see Getting Testnet Tokens.
You can also mint AUSD from CTK with a ctk → ausd route. See On-Chain Deposits.
Explorers
The API returns a transactionHash for each on-chain leg. Look it up on Snowtrace (Fuji) or Etherscan (Sepolia).
